I recently helped my Mom clean out some old dressers. We found all my grandmother's hankies. What a treasure. It is a shame that no one uses them anymore. This orange Sunbonnet Hankie was the one that caught my eye, so I searched for the instructions to make one. It is a perfect hot weather project.
The instructions have you working in different colored crochet cotton. If you want to copy the Handkerchief that my grandmother owned, just work with a varigated thread.
