Sunbonnet Sue Chat List
Gone with the Wind Swap!
These beautiful blocks are part of a block swap organized by the sunbonnetsue chat list.
Inspired by the beautiful love story and exquisite costumes, two Sunbonnet Sue chat list members, Jo R. from Minnesota and BC from New York, organized the "Gone With The Wind" swap for list members. Approximately 25 avid fans of the most beloved movie of all time joined the swap which began officially on January 1st, 2002 and finished on March 31st, 2002. Each participant selected a costume, scene, or quote from the movie to sew by machine or by hand in appliqué or redwork embroidery. Here are some of the blocks.
